Below a number of outstanding photos of meals for parrots that I have not yet been posted.
Quinoa, grape, rocket lettuce, red peppers and cooked beans.

Pellets, homemade pellets, dried vegetables, tropical patee, mulberry and raisins.

December is a busy month, but I do not forget the parrots and they are served daily nice fresh dishes. I forget sometimes to make pictures and sometimes real life is buzzy that I not upload the pics. Here are some pictures of nice meals for the birds the past days.

Potatoes arugula meal

This morning a delicious meal with potatoes, corn, arugula and many more delicacies.

Kiko is in two weeks treatment with antifungal drops, and I must say that it really is successful! It was hard to find a way to give him the drops. I put the drops in very sweet things but he did not want to eat it…Finally I put the drops in some spreadable sausage. Today I will call the vet to tell him what’s going on.aardappel rucola maaltje

Back to the Vet again

Yesterday I went back to the avian vet with Kiko. When I take him out of his sleep bench yesterday morning he had a thick eye again and I heard the heavy breathing again. Dr. van Doormalen checked kiko again properly. An injection given with antibiotics and I get some eye drops.  The medication that I administer by Kiko to put in his food he really did not want. After three days he refused food / fluids with the medicine inside …
He must be a real connoisseur;-)

Next Thursday I go back for control.

This morning:

Cooked bean mix, red and yellow peppers, apples, dried fruit chips and mulberries, rocket salad, tropical patee.

Scrambled with pomegranate powder.
