The picture in my blog is always one bowl but actually I always make three bowls with food: for Tommy, Rikki and Kiko.

Tommy (African Grey) was in the beginning not keen on ‘wet’ food and especially no vegetables. But nowadays she loves to nibbles on the veggies!

Tommy is with me for 25 years in june and we have been through a lot in that time. Today she lived along for some years with two male black headed caiques and that’s going pretty good. Tommy, as befits a true African Grey, is a loner, but she certainly interact with the two little clowns!

So next month we have a big party!
And Tommy may sit as long as she wants under the cabinet …

I’m from Holland and on april 30th is the inauguration of King William.
We say goodbye to our Queen Beatrix.
Every year on april 30 we don’t have to work and we celebrate the birthday of our Queen.
Almost everyone will be dressed in orange; so today we eat royal orange food

Apple, orange pepper, cucumber, onion, carrot, walnut, watercress and green peppers.

I had some leftovers from yesterday dinner, so the birds have a nice meal today

String beans, peppers, grape, apple, carrot, spring onion, dried raspberry (no success) and walnut.

Sometimes real life take a lot of energy, so I have less time to post a blog.
Excuses for that, but I’m back again!
I Attached a few pictures of lovely parrot meals I madethe last month.

Quinoa, cucumber, banana, apple, goji berry, cooked beans.

Cucumber, cheese, mexican bean mixture, tropical mix, apple and radish.

Cucumber, arugula, peppers, apple, mixed salad, sesame seeds.
